WHAT TO DO IN ROVERETO

MART – Museum of Modern and contemporary Art of Rovereto and Trento

 Coming to Trento province and not stopping to enjoy a pearl of modern and contemporary art is really a shame… an integral part of the museum is the Depero Futurist Art House. The MART was inaugurated on December 15, 2002. It’s in a building designed by the Ticino architect Mario Botta and was inspired by the shapes of classic models. In particular, the futuristic glass and steel dome in before the entrance recalls the most famous lines of the Pantheon. Under the great dome is a large square decorated at its center by an evocative fountain.
