Our 10 secret super-tips

Our secret tips to better enjoy the beautiful Lake Garda can be found here …

  1. Relaxation and colors of wonder? Navene beach is just before Malcesine in front of the Alpine campsite. Look for parking through a comfortable underpass. Enjoy a few hours of relaxation lulled by the fresh breeze that blows from the lake and take a nice dip in the crystal clear waters.

  2. Audaciousness and romance? Dive from the rock below the Malcesine Castle and dine at the marina. The dive is not essential, but especially for the more daring; it’s a unique emotion. For all of us with a less fearless heart, it’s enough to admire the thrill and then sit in one of the fine restaurants in the center of Malcesine to enjoy a dinner with the gastronomic delicacies of the area.

  3. Adrenaline? Ponale del Garda road and panorama from Punta Larici (one of the most beautiful cycle and pedestrian paths in the world). Ponale Road is an old mule track built in the first half of the nineteenth century. It goes up the valley of the Ponale stream and was born as a connection between Riva del Garda and the villages of the Val di Ledro. For almost a century and a half, it was covered by car traffic. In the second half of the nineties of the twentieth century, it definitively closed its doors, until its reopening in 2004 as a cycle path and path for hikers. It’s often elevated among the most beautiful roads in the world.

  4. Eighth wonder of the world? Forra di Tremosine Road. Winston Churchill called the Tremosine Gorge the “eighth wonder of the world.” The road climbs from Gargnano on Lake Garda and reaches Tremosine, which is the most exciting terrace on Lake Garda. It’s a unique masterpiece of how the wildest nature has created an exchange of jokes with human ingenuity. A winding tongue set in the rock, which ensures the impression of entering the sinuosity of the mountain.

  5. Unforgettable sunsets? Cablecar from Malcesine to Monte Baldo. From the top of Monte Baldo you can enjoy a breathtaking view of Lake Garda and the Alps. You can walk, lie down to sunbathe, dive with a paraglider, or simply relax. Have you ever gone up? On foot, by bike or by cable car from Malcesine? We recommend only for you: go up in the afternoon with the cable car from Malcesine and enjoy the last hours before sunset … magical and unforgettable atmosphere!

  6. Adventure also for the whole family? Hiking trail from Busatte to Tempesta. The path starts at the Busatte, above Torbole, towards Tempesta, next to the Adventure Park. In the same place you will find convenient free parking and a beautiful bar where you can refuel and have breakfast before departure.

  7. Ghosts and past lives? The ghost town of Campo di Brenzone. Campo di Brenzone is a small medieval village overlooking the Venetian shore of Lake Garda. It’s immersed in a forest of olive, holm oak and beech trees on the slopes of Monte Baldo, and it can only be reached on foot.

  8. Water sports and nature? Campione del Garda is a very picturesque small village, famous for everything related to water sports and relaxation on its beach. In fact, winds always blow here that allow kitesurfing, windsurfing and sailing boats.
